If you are looking for a quick fishing trip outside of town, this is the place to go. There are wonderful campgrounds for summer camping as well.

- Plan your fishing trip in the fall. The reservoir gets drained in the fall, making it easier to fish.
- The most scenic route is through the small town of Ola, Idaho (if you are driving from Boise).
