Jump Creek Falls, Idaho

January 16, 2018

Jump Creek Falls are tucked away in a small canyon southwest of Marsing, Idaho. Upon arrival, there is a trail that goes alongside a small creek. After about a half mile, there is a waterfall flowing over a large cliff. There is a trail that leads to the very top. It is located on the right side of the waterfall but it will require some light mountain climbing/scrambling (not recommended for kids). The trail goes alongside the canyon and loops back to the parking lot.

Additional Info:

Activities Hiking & Swimming
Difficulty Easy
Distance 0.5 Miles (from parking lot to the waterfall)

Seasons Year round: waterfall is completely frozen in the Winter

Location:

Tips:

  • Wear pants in the Spring. There is a lot of poison ivy.
  • Do NOT even think about cliff jumping here. It is too shallow!
  • Go in the winter to see the waterfall completely frozen.
