“If this is an offline page, how do you even post? Isn’t that like against your message?” You won’t believe how many people ask us this question!
A lot of people misunderstand the meaning of our name. It technically means to literally be “offline” and “outdoors”. Some people are assuming that we are offline and outdoors 24/7. We are not against technology. In fact, we love it. Without technology, we wouldn’t be able to share pictures of our adventures with you. We are simply urging everyone to turn off their service, for at least a mere moment, and to reconnect with nature.
We are not telling anyone to completely forget about their technology and throw it away. We want people to go outside the city boundaries and to forget about what is currently “trending”. We want our followers to pause for a moment and to breath in the fresh pine forest air, to listen to the crashing coastal waves, to see the golden hour sunset glisten through the clouds, and to experience total serenity that is found in nature.
To answer the question of how we post our pictures. We turn on the internet, login into our social media account, pick out our favorite picture, and post it.
